There were several things that we managed to do on this day. One of those things was the distribution of drinking water. We knew that people living in makeshift camps would have no access to safe drinking water as most of the systems have collapsed.
When the volunteers of Deerwalk Foundation reached different places distributing water, people rushed towards us fearing we would run out of supply. We assured them that we had brought enough for each of the family camped at the place. They were very kind to us and were full of praises for us. We left slightly embarrassed as we felt that we were just doing our duty and did not deserve such praise.
