Sindupalchowk is one of the hugely impacted areas of earthquake in Nepal. Deerwalk Foundation visited one of the schools (which was completely destroyed) at Sindupalchowk. Deerwalk Foundation also visited a small family that belonged to a Deerwalk family member. More than 90% of the houses in the village were destroyed.

Shree Siddhi Kamala Devi Secondary School has 340 students from grade 1 to 10 but the school has been closed since the earthquake. Team donated few PE Plastic cover sheets and money to the school. People who lost their home in the earthquake, are living under the open sky with a plastic sheet cover. A lot of people are still waiting for tents from the government.
